Critical Friend Visits
Aimed at the residential care service Critical Friend Visits consists of a visit to each service from early morning to late evening to consider the broad themes of management, care and environment. A report highlighting good practice and recommending improvements to practice would be prepared within one week of each visit. Visits would include staff and service users to promote an inclusive approach to the development of best practice.
Benefits and outcomes
This process will highlight good practice whilst identifying areas for possible improvements, with recommendations for actions.
Fee - £1,000 per day plus VAT and expenses.
