Training
VOICE UK's training is uniquely informed by years of experience of working with people with learning disabilities who've been abused or experienced crime, as well as their families, carers and professional workers.
"Choice Support is a national charity supporting over 450 people with learning disabilities across a large area of England. We always do everything that we can to ensure that the services that we provide are safe. The recent 'revelations' concerning institutional abuse of people with learning disabilities in Cornwall prompted a 'root and branch' review of our policies, procedures and systems that are in place which are designed to ensure adult protection.

Choice Support
We offer a range of training courses, with a strong emphasis on giving participants, working in health, police, social services, education, criminal justice system and the voluntary sector, a positive, practical approach to adult protection. We are also able to work with your organisation to define and deliver bespoke training to match your organisations needs.
There are no excuses for not knowing the law. There are no excuses for not knowing what to do when abuse or crime has been committed against a person with learning disabilities.

Training Fees
One day course for up to 15 participants - £700
Half day course for up to 15 participants - £400
A 10% reduction is offered on all training for organisations who are members of VOICE UK.
Fees shown exclude VAT and expenses.
